Ford Sollers launches compensations for resigning employees
MOSCOW, Jan 31 (PRIME) -- Ford Sollers, a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and Russian carmaker Sollers, has launched a resignation program, including higher compensations for its employees, an official told PRIME on Tuesday.
“We are optimizing the office. The program will be active for all categories of personnel but we assume that it will be mostly used by office employees,” the official said. He said that the terms of the program include compensation amounting to five monthly wages.
He said that the plan will be limited in time but not from Wednesday till February 13 as media reported.
Russian sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles (LCV) fell 0.9% on the year to 146,000 vehicles in December. In 2016, sales dropped 11% on the year to 1.42 million vehicles, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) said earlier in a report.
